CONGRATS!!! You're pregnant! Now what? Here is where you learn all the things you need to do and what you need to know after you learn that you are pregnant.

You are probably experiencing some early pregnancy symptoms. Morning sickness is very common and there are lots of things you can try to help you survive through it. Most importantly though is to listen to your body. If there are certain foods that make you sick, stay away. Eat small meals, but always keep something in your stomach. Carbs and junk food are what most women crave during this time. If that is all you can get down, go for it, and do not beat yourself up about it. There will be plenty of time to get back to good nutrition later in the pregnancy. Try to keep a good whole food prenatal vitamin down and sneak some healthy foods in when you are feeling ok. Try smoothies. Ginger and peppermint are helpful sometimes. Vitamin B6 is another good remedy to try. Some even suggest combining B6 and doxylamine or Unisome (Talk to your doctor about any of these remedies first and to determine dosage). Acupressure and acupuncture are something else to try before taking anti-nausea meds prescribed by your doctor. Do your research on any medication before taking it. Some of those meds have scary side effects and risks for the baby. I know this time can be really challenging but it does get better. It will go away. There is alot to still look forward to and enjoy during pregnancy.
