The Bishnois remain the first eco-friendly religious community recorded in history. Originating in the Thar Desert of Rajasthan, their guru, Jambaji, established 29 rules focused on protecting all forms of life, including the directive: "Protect trees and animals!" For over 600 years, the Bishnois have lived in harmony with nature, even sacrificing their own lives to preserve it. By recounting the personal stories of some of its members in contemporary India, the documentary illustrates how these principles continue to guide their daily lives and serve as an inspiration for modern society.
