This Mid Century tall boy looked like a simple flip... until it wasn't. What started as a quick makeover turned into a full blown paint picking nightmare. Layers of paint and primer over poorly sanded veneer left me no choice but to replace the top and go a bit darker than I wanted to. Not to mention WAY more hours than I care to admit.

In this video, I take you through the frustrating, but oddly satisfying journey of stripping and scraping, picking, sanding, patching, repairing, and restoring this Canadian made mid century chest of drawers. It may not be perfection in the end, which annoys me to no end, but the transformation DOES speak for itself.
