7 years ago, I bought my first drone and action camera to explore the world differently. My goal was to show people something they had not seen. With the jump on early FPV hype, I was able to show people a new perspective of our nature, and I focused only on nature first. I got the amazing opportunity to work on some nature documentaries. Coming from a country that is not known for its video work, that was an amazing opportunity, and I quit my corporate job as I knew this opportunity would not come again. The last 4 years, I pushed very hard to master the skills of filmmaking, especially aerial filmmaking. The goal was always to make it better than the previous video, show people something they had not seen before or differently, and to support the locals as they are the ones who often, in big productions, don’t get any credit even though they bring their country / their canvas to you. For my last passion project, I wanted to go back to Africa as I spent a lot of time there over the last years and met some amazing people, and I wanted to show the world something they hadn’t seen. Why is this my last big passion project? The simple answer is, the passion project reached a point where I found it hard to improve without more time, more equipment, luck, etc., and I decided to end those passion projects in my best shape and give everything for my final masterpiece.
