We’ve just landed in Colombo, Sri Lanka, and it was a complete assault on the senses — in the best possible way.

The city is chaotic, colourful, loud, and full of life. We had no idea what to expect from our first day in Sri Lanka, but between the friendly locals, the constant honking of tuk-tuks, and some of the best street food we’ve had in Asia, Colombo definitely surprised us.

This is our first impression of Sri Lanka’s capital — the good, the bad, and everything in between.
