Following the positive response to my Top 10 fireworks videos released at the end of 2023 and 2024,
I decided to create a new Top 10 Fireworks of 2025, once again based entirely on my personal experience.

Throughout 2025, many fireworks events faced difficult conditions,
with unfavorable weather and challenging environments making filming especially demanding.
Even so, I was fortunate to attend many outstanding fireworks displays
and capture a number of truly memorable moments on film.

This video is a personal Top 10 selection compiled from the fireworks events
I attended and filmed during the year.
Please note that this ranking reflects my individual impressions only
and is not an objective ranking of fireworks events themselves.

I hope you can enjoy this video casually as a personal selection.

A spectacular anniversary event featuring three fireworks companies.
Watching powerful fireworks at close range under ideal conditions was truly special,
and the final one-minute simultaneous launch from three locations was breathtaking.

Once again, we enjoyed excellent conditions for viewing and filming.
Held in early July, this beloved event marks the opening of the fireworks season,
showcasing the refined craftsmanship of Kikuya Obata Fireworks.

After many years of watching from the venue,
this year I viewed the fireworks from a mountain about 5 km away.
Seeing large shells rise above city lights and drifting smoke
left a lasting impression.

Conditions were far from ideal, with smoke lingering due to headwinds.
Despite this, the large-scale commemorative fireworks set to a symphonic score,
dedicated to peace, were truly spectacular.

Fireworks spanning nearly 600 meters right in front of the audience
created a sense of scale unlike anything else.
Although smoke affected visibility,
the program by Shinshu Fireworks was among the year’s finest starmine displays.

One of the largest fireworks events in the Kanto region,
continuing to evolve in both scale and content.
The collaboration of four master fireworks companies was impressive,
with Yamazaki Fireworks standing out in particular this year.

One of Japan’s most iconic fireworks events.
The Phoenix fireworks, seen for the 20th time this year,
were as moving as ever.
Filming from a high-rise rooftop overlooking the city made the experience unforgettable.

The main highlight, the NTN-sponsored program,
was scaled down due to flooding at the launch site caused by high tides.
However, thanks to last year’s improvements to the overall event structure,
the other programs remained highly impressive.

1:11:09 – Honorable Mention 2
Once a personal favorite, this event has gradually been scaled down in recent years.
While the overall energy felt reduced this year,
the program by Margaux Fireworks, composed entirely in red, was exceptional.

1:15:02 – Honorable Mention 3
Unfortunately, the event was stopped during the show due to a fire-related incident.
Incidents like this should never happen.
Even so, the bold and distinctive style of Nihonbashi Marutamaya
left a strong impression.

1:30:22 – #3
Held every late November, this event marks the finale of my fireworks season.
Despite reports of budget constraints in recent years,
the quality remained outstanding,
especially a fast-paced, music-synchronized program by Shinshu Fireworks.

A favorite event known for the unique “Marutamaya World.”
This year’s semicircular launch layout, combined with a record seven fireworks towers,
created a truly one-of-a-kind fireworks experience.

With consistently strong direction and high quality,
this event once again overwhelmed audiences.
In addition to its excellence as a competition,
five special programs showcased the distinct strengths of each fireworks company,
delivering a deeply moving experience.
