Set on the Cape coastline between boulders and coastal fynbos, Castle Rock Beach House is a 110m² concrete structure designed with curved concrete beams, a retractable glass roof and crushed glass plaster that blends into the surrounding landscape.

This is the kind of place where the Dalai Lama might retreat - and Vogue might shoot an editorial. The architecture invites stillness, with light and geometry offering the clarity and control needed for high-end visuals. It’s calm, cinematic and unforgettable.

With no ornamentation and a consistent palette of raw materials, the house offers a clean visual field ideal for film and photography. Every detail supports the architecture: neutral tones, rounded edges and natural textures that read more like sculpture than surface.

The location is remote, with no ambient noise - just the wind, the ocean and a 6m mechanised skylight moving light through the space. Designed as a place to pause, not perform, Castle Rock is about presence - a space that holds stillness and lets the rest fall away.
