Meaning:

श्री रामचन्द्र कृपालु भजुमन हरण भवभय दारुणं ।
नव कञ्ज लोचन कञ्ज मुख कर कञ्ज पद कञ्जारुणं ॥१॥

Transliteration:
(Shri Ramachandra Kripalu Bhajuman Haran Bhavabhaya Daarunam)
(Nava Kanja Lochana Kanja Mukha Kara Kanja Pada Kanjarunam ||1||)

English Meaning:
O mind, worship the compassionate Shri Ramachandra, who removes the terrifying fear of existence;
His eyes, face, hands, and feet are like fresh lotuses, glowing red.


कन्दर्प अगणित अमित छवि नव नील नीरद सुन्दरं ।
पटपीत मानहुँ तडित रुचि शुचि नौमि जनक सुतावरं ॥२॥

Transliteration:
(Kandarpa Aganita Amita Chhavi Nava Neela Neerada Sundaram)
(Patapita Manahun Tadita Ruchi Suchi Naumi Janaka Sutavaram ||2||)

English Meaning:
His beauty, limitless and unmatched, eclipses even the god of love, looking like a fresh blue cloud;
Clad in yellow silk, he resembles pure, striking lightning. I bow to Sita's supreme spouse.


भजु दीनबन्धु दिनेश दानव दैत्य वंश निकन्दनं ।
रघुनन्द आनन्द कन्द कोसल चंद्र दशरथ नन्दनं ॥३॥

Transliteration:
(Bhaju Deenabandhu Dinesha Danava Daitya Vansha Nikandanam)
(Raghunanda Anandakanda Koshala Chandra Dasharatha Nandanam ||3||)

English Meaning:
Worship him, the friend of the poor, the sun that destroys the lineage of demons;
The delight of the Raghu dynasty, the moon of Kosala, the son of Dasharatha.


आजानु भुज शर चाप धर संग्राम जित खरदूषणं ॥४॥
सिर मुकुट कुंडल तिलक चारु उदार अङ्ग विभूषणं ।

Transliteration:
(Sira Mukuta Kundala Tilaka Charu Udara Anga Vibhushanam)
(Aajanubhuja Shara Chaapa Dhara Sangrama Jita Kharadushanam ||4||)

English Meaning:
Adorned with a crown, earrings, and a beautiful tilak on his noble body;
His arms extend to his knees, bearing a bow and arrow, victorious in battle against the demons Khara and Dushana.


इति वदति तुलसीदास शंकर शेष मुनि मन रंजनं ।
मम हृदय कंज निवास कुरु कामादि खलदल गंजनं ॥५॥

Transliteration:
(Iti Vadati Tulasidas Shankar Shesha Muni Man Ranjanam)
(Mama Hridaya Kunja Nivasa Kuru Kamadi Khaladala Ganjanam ||5||)

English Meaning:
Thus speaks Tulsidas, delighting the minds of Shiva, Shesha, and sages;
O Lord, reside in the grove of my heart, and dispel the group of vices like desire.

॥ छंद ॥

नु जाहि राचेयु मिलहि सो वरु सहज सुन्दर सांवरो ।
करुणा निधान सुजान शीलु स्नेह जानत रावरो ॥
एहि भांति गौरी असीस सुन सिय सहित हिय हरषित अली।
तुलसी भवानिहि पूजी पुनि-पुनि मुदित मन मन्दिर चली ॥

Transliteration:
(Nu Jahi Racheyu Milahi So Varu Sahaj Sundar Samvaro)
(Karuna Nidhan Sujan Sheelu Sneha Janat Ravaro)
(Ehi Bhanti Gauri Asis Sun Siya Sahit Hiya Harshit Ali)
(Tulasi Bhavanahi Puji Puni-Puni Mudit Man Mandir Chali)

English Meaning:
He who fully absorbs you in his heart meets you, naturally as a beautiful spouse;
The abode of compassion, known for his integrity and affectionate nature.
In this way, hearing Gauri's blessing, Sita, along with her heart, rejoices;
Repeatedly worshiping Bhavani, Tulasi joyfully proceeds to the temple.


॥ सोरठा ॥
जानी गौरी अनुकूल सिय हिय हरषु न जाइ कहि । मंजुल मंगल मूल वाम अङ्ग फरकन लगे।

Transliteration:
(Jani Gauri Anukul Siya Hiya Harshu Na Jai Kahi Manjul Mangal Mul Vam Ang Farkan Lage)

English Meaning:
Knowing Gauri to be favorable, Sita's heart leaps with joy indescribable;
The source of auspiciousness, her left side trembles.
