Rain spreads northwards this evening, turning heavy and possibly thundery at times across central and southern England, with showers elsewhere and mild temperatures in the low teens in the south but near freezing in the far north of Scotland.
Tomorrow starts very wet across northern England and southern Scotland with rain easing, followed by a mostly cloudy day with showers, drier by afternoon and feeling cooler.
