Playing Pokémon Platinum, I don't know why there were problems with the EXP with Chimchar but eventually they stopped lol. as for the shiny Pokémon I'm not entirely sure why they are suddenly popping up, it could be the ROM itself, but I do not have any cheats enabled for this game (the only times I use cheats are for walk-through videos or because I have already beaten the game before without cheats).
