We did the back way to crown King yesterday and it was a mudfest.
I wanna say it rained about half of the time that we were out and I was the only open top Jeep. The obstacles were slick and the ground that never gets water was soft and you dug holes real quick so it made everything super difficult.
We made it up to the top though for a beer and a burger. What a nice place to hang out at the end of a trail.
It is a point to point trail so I left my trailer down in the beginning so I had to head back down that trail. It only took me about an hour and a half to get back down compared to the 4 1/2 hours up.
