Denis Naughten: a Member of Parliament for the Constituency of Roscommon Galway, member of the Inter-Parliamentary Union Working Group on Science and Technology, which has been established as the global parliamentary focal point for issues related to science and technology. He is a chairperson of the Joint Oireachtas Committee on Social Protection, Community and Rural Development and the Islands. He was Minister for Communications, Climate Action & Environment incorporating Energy from 2016-18. He was Ireland's first ever Climate Minister.
