This time, I'll take you to conquer Mount Tsubakuro (Tsubakuro-dake), one of the most beautiful peaks in the Northern Japan Alps, and nicknamed the "Queen of the Northern Alps." 🌄

This trip is a 2-day, 1-night hike
during the most beautiful autumn leaves of the year. 🍁
The trail from the Nakabusa Onsen Trailhead to Enzanso Hut
is filled with views of pine forests, red leaves, and unique granite ridges.

📍 Highlights of this EP:

A steep, almost entirely steep hike of over 1,300 meters.

Amazing autumn foliage all the way. 🍂

Overnight at a campsite near Enzanso.

Distance: Approximately 5.5 km (ascent), elevation gain: 1,300 meters.

Hike time: 7–8 hours up, 5–6 hours down.

Trip: Matsumoto → Hotaka → Nakabusa Onsen Trailhead

Estimated cost:

Train + bus from Matsumoto: ~3,660 yen

Tent pitching fee: 2,000 yen (or hut accommodation: ~15,000 yen, including meals)
