I Rescued This $40 Dresser And You Won't Believe The Results!

This mid-century dresser was in rough shape when I found it on Facebook Marketplace for just $40 😬 I can't believe somebody would paint over mid century furniture like this!

Here’s the steps for this dresser makeover:
1️⃣ Stripped off the old paint – I let the paint stripper sit for an hour, making it slide right off. So satisfying!
2️⃣Filled in damage with wood putty🪚✨
3️⃣ Sanded the entire dresser smooth with a 220 grit
4️⃣ Applied pre-stain wood conditioner
Applied walnut gel wood stain!
5️⃣ Toned the legs – A walnut toner blended everything together so it's even.
6️⃣ Applied 3 layers of topcoat!
