💥 SPINAL AWARENESS: finding neutral – supine (6/7)

💥As we draw to the end of the week we continue our focus on finding a good neutral position for the lower spine. Some people over arch their lower back creating a Donald Duck butt and jamming up the facet joints, while others tuck their pelvis under too far.

💥Today we move through the extremes of each position to increase your awareness of where you should be.

💥STEPS
1) Lay on your back with your knees bent.
2) Push your lower spine into the ground, rocking your pelvis backward.
3) Now arch you back, lifting your lower spine off the ground and rocking your pelvis forward.
4) Do this 10 times to get a feel for the full range of lumbar flexion and extension/pelvic rocking.
