All the old layers of upholstery are finally coming off my Victorian armchair! 💃🏽

This chair has been through years of use, and I’m carefully stripping it back to the frame while saving the original springs. These will be reused when I rebuild the seat and inside back — keeping as much of the original craftsmanship as possible.

Next steps are to repair (and maybe reinforce) the frame to make it strong again 💪🏼 before I can get to work on rebuilding all the layers with new materials.
