A super teaser trailer for "3D Kanojo: Real Girl," a live-action film adaptation of a popular comic starring Nakajo Ayami and Sano Hayato, has been released.

The film is a live-action adaptation of the popular comic by Nanami Mao, which was serialized in Kodansha's Monthly Dessert magazine from September 2011 to July 2016, and has sold a total of 1.2 million copies (including digital sales). It's gaining attention, with an anime adaptation scheduled to start airing on Nippon Television's AnichU slot and elsewhere from April.

Nakajo will play Igarashi Iroha, a flashy, prickly, and bad-tempered girl with a happy, perfect life, and a penchant for men, in the film "Mix." Sano, who is gaining attention for his roles in films such as "Love Live!" and "Chihayafuru: Musubi," will play the role of Tsutsui Hikari, also known as "Tsutsun," a geeky high school student who is far from a real-life happy person and is absorbed in the virtual world of anime and games.

The super trailer just released opens with a scene in which Nakajo's character, Iroha, confesses, "Tsutsun, go out with me," and not only "Tsutsun" Tsutsui (Sano Hayato) but his classmates also look shocked. The narrator continues, "The most beautiful girl in school has chosen a super geek who loves 2D!?"

Tsutsui is confused and overwhelmed by the events he experiences with his 3D (real-life) girlfriend, which he has never experienced before: walking to school together, going on dates, having lunch, piggybacking, hugs. A sudden kiss finally pushes Tsutsui's limits to the limit!? Tsutsui, who has no immunity to 3D women, mutters, "It's like an endless hell..." and comically highlights the love story between these two characters, a "beauty and an otaku" who live in completely different worlds, not a "beauty and the beast" kind of relationship.

What will become of the love story between Tsutsun, who has spent 18 years seeking a place in the virtual world and avoiding real-life communication, and the stunningly beautiful Iroha? "3D Kanojo: Real Girl" will be released nationwide on September 14th.
