About Sex Education: is a British teen comedy-drama streaming television series created by Laurie Nunn for Netflix. The series follows the lives of the students, staff and parents of the fictitious Moordale Secondary School as they contend with various personal dilemmas, often related to sexual intimacy. The first series was released on 11 January 2019, the second on 17 January 2020, and the third on 17 September 2021. The series has been renewed for a fourth series.[1]
Sex Education has received critical acclaim, with particular praise for its ensemble cast, writing, directing, production values, and mature treatment of its themes. The series has been a viewership success, with over 40 million viewers streaming the first series after its debut. Wood won the BAFTA TV Award for Best Female Comedy Performance for her role in the second series.
With a pregnant Jean Milburn having to make a few important decisions, the new season will most certainly not be boring. • Gillian Anderson as Jean Milburn (née Franklin), Otis's mother and a well-known sex therapist who is frank about all aspects of sexuality

• Emma Mackey as Maeve Wiley, who befriends Otis and runs a sex therapy clinic with him

• Simone Ashley as Olivia Hanan, a member of the Untouchables
• Tanya Reynolds as Lily Iglehart, a girl who writes alien erotica (series 2–3; recurring series 1)
• Mikael Persbrandt as Jakob Nyman, a widowed Swedish handyman who develops a relationship with Jean (series 2–3; recurring series 1)
• Patricia Allison as Ola Nyman, Jakob's daughter who's pansexual (series 2–3; recurring series 1)
• Anne-Marie Duff as Erin Wiley, Maeve, Sean and Elsie's absent mother who reappears (series 2–3)
