It has been far too long since my last video, but sadly it has been a struggle to find the time lately with my studies taking up most of my time; however, here we are.
A short video looking at how Shindo captures a feeling of melancholia in his post-war cinema, and how one sequence in Naked Island seems to say so much about him as a filmmaker.
