Welcome to Modernist Mixing where I show a modern approach to producing, mixing & mastering music. I'm a guitarist, music producer and audio geek who believes in the digital age, the tools available for music producers have come to a point where we no longer have to work with methods developed 50 years ago to produce music that sounds great.
A fresh approach might be just what you need.

I don't delve into in-depth plugin reviews or provide step-by-step tutorials. Instead, I believe the best way to master audio mixing is through hands-on experience, so I focus on showcasing full-song mixing sessions from start to finish. This approach gives a more comprehensive understanding of the mixing process, rather than just reviewing products or comparing them.

I also am a firm believer in "speed mixing" where you work "in the zone" and get to the "90% done" mark as quickly as possible. This allows me to go with the flow and only focus on what matters more easily.
