In this video, we shall discuss the broader Roles and Responsibilities of a Chief Risk Officer CRO of a Bank. CRO is a senior management or a c suite executive in a bank or financial institution, therefore he or she is responsible to identify, measure, manage, mitigate, and monitor the institution's risks and reporting the risk management results to the Senior Management and the Board of Directors such as Board Risk Committee. CRO manages the overall risk profile of the institution. Due to his or her expertise, CROs get the highest salaries and benefits.

CRO heads the Enterprise Risk Management function and manages the Credit, Market, Liquidity, Technology, Operational, and Reputational Risks. He or she prepares different risk reports and presents them to the Board on a periodic basis.
