I saw something recently that really struck a chord with me. It was the story of the Perfectionist, the Procrastinator and the Iterator. Each on their own creative journey, with the goal of sharing their work with the world.
The first was the perfectionist, their work was always incredible. Infrequent, but incredible. They labored on every detail, no stone unturned, no aspect overlooked. No expense was spared in the pursuit of perfection.
They envied those that were able to produce lots of unpolished work but hey, “what good is work if it’s not my best.” They would say.
They often found themselves overwhelmed and overworked, underpaid and under appreciated. Afterall, their work was great, there just wasn’t a lot of it.
Then there was the procrastinator, who always found themselves preparing, planning, learning. Ideas were always abundant but they never quite seemed to leave the starting block.
Always talking of their big new project; or the thing they’ve been working on, but they’ve been saying that for years, who knows whether this one will be different.
Then finally there’s the iterator. Who’s body of work could fill the pages of a library.
Much of it unmemorable, but some of it remarkable.
They’ve been through their ups and downs over the years yet somehow seem to constantly find diamonds in the rough, always progressing, always around. They just don’t seem to stop.
They resonated with me because I’ve been all three. I’ve let procrastination stop me, perfectionism hold me back and now I’m hoping that iterating will help me create my best work.
Aim to be the iterator.
Make more stuff.

My goal with this channel is to help you make more money and improve your personal finances. How to become a millionaire? There are many ways to get there – investing in the stock market, becoming a stock trader, doing real estate investing, or why not becoming an entrepreneur? But whether you are interested in how to invest in stocks or investing strategies for creating passive income with rental properties – I hope to be able to provide you with a solution (or at least an idea) here. Warren Buffett - the greatest investor of our time - says that you should fill your mind with competing ideas and then see what makes sense to you. This channel is about filling your mind with those ideas. And in the process – upgrading your money-making toolbox.
