The School of Nursing and Health Sciences is pleased to invite you to join us for a lecture and reception celebrating the St. Martin De Porres, O.P. Center for Health and Human Dignity on November 3. Under the leadership of Brother Ignatius Perkins, O.P., Ph.D., RN, the Center takes a distinctly Dominican approach to advancing healing, hope, and human dignity in health care.

The lecture will feature Celia Cussen, Ph.D., professor of history at the University of Chile in Santiago and the 2025–2026 Rev. Robert J. Randall Distinguished Professor in Christian Culture. The evening will conclude with a reception and the presentation of the inaugural Minister of Hope and Healing Award, recognizing service that reflects the Center’s mission.
