8 years old, Master Ravi has been suffering from Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML). His father Mr. Mohril Jha is a daily wage earner and is the sole breadwinner of the family. The boy is currently admitted and receiving treatment at AIIMS, New Delhi.

Until now, the family have spent about Rs. 1 lakh as hospital expenses and medication. Ravi’s family has arranged this amount from savings, and taking help from friends. Master Ravi is in very critical condition now and he and his family need our support.

Acute myeloid leukemia (AML) is a cancer of the blood and bone marrow, the spongy tissue inside bones where blood cells are made. AML starts in the bone marrow (the soft inner part of certain bones, where new blood cells are made), but most often it quickly moves into the blood, as well. It can sometimes spread to other parts of the body including the lymph nodes, liver, spleen, central nervous system (brain and spinal cord), and testicles. General signs and symptoms of the early stages of AML may mimic those of the flu or other common diseases.

As per the hospital, Ravi has to undergo a stem cell transplant within next 30 days which is costing around Rs. 8 lakhs. Due to the lockdown and hospital expenses, the family have already exhausted their savings.
