The Soan River (Urdu: سواں), also referred to as the Swan, Sawan, or Sohan, is a river in Punjab, Pakistan. The Soan River is an important stream of the Pothohar or North Punjab region of Pakistan. It drains much of the water of Pothohar. Emerging from the foothills of Patriata and Murree, Soan River eventually falls into Indus River near Makkar.

In this video flood in Soan River can be seen due to heavy rains in Murree & Islamabad, Also the spillway opening of both Simly and Rawal Dam have caused flooding / raised the water level and acceleration to a very dangerous point.
