It’s hotter than blue blazes, so we just attempted to make a watermelon keg right here on the jobsite.
We had this melon in the fridge all night so it’s nice and cold.
First thing I did was blend it up. I used a paint mixing attachment with my drill- it worked a little too good…
We added some strawberry flavor to our watermelon. I chopped up about 2 dozen strawberries and loaded them into the caulk gun.
This made a nice strawberry paste for the punch.
Then I dumped in a strawberry and watermelon Jarritos soda for a little fiz.
These drinks are amazing, if you’ve never had one- you gotta try one.
And last but not least, some Strawberry Watermelon 5-hour ENERGY.
Believe me, when it’s this hot out- I’ll take all the energy I can get.
Next, I drilled a ½” hole in the bottom of the watermelon and threaded in a spigot that I picked up from Lowes.
Finally, we rimmed the cups. I dumped a layer of Tajin on a bucket lid, moistened the rim of the cups with lime juice, and dipped them in the Tajin.
