Utilising a phenolic hyper-core, revolutionary Y.E.S.S III mounting technology, Absolute BD interior weighting frequency attenuation technology and breathtaking traditional Japanese 'UZUKURI' finishing techniques, oak has achieved an entirely new level of beauty, dynamics and projection for drummers that desire more. The series features five new unique uzukuri finishes:
UZU Ice Sunburst
UZU Magma Sunburst
UZU Natural
UZU Earth Sunburst
UZU Charcoal Sunburst.

The traditional Japanese “uzukuri” finishing process creates a beautifully textured surface by carving only the softer grain of the wood with a brushing technique.
