Dr. Broome: So what should you look for when seeking out orthopedic surgeon and I would say you want to find someone that's going to spend time with you. You want to do your research that makes sure that they let you ask questions and answer and explain those questions to you so that you feel comfortable and at peace with your decision. Many of the things that we do like hip and knee replacements, once you have that procedure done, that implant is in you for the long haul. And so you can't turn it around and then take it back out. So it's very important that you know each other well and you build up that trust because once I do a hip or knee replacement on somebody, we're basically going to be friends for life. And so we got to keep that relationship going.
