This is the true story of a nomadic orphan mother and her son, evicted from their home due to unpaid rent. With nowhere else to go, they took refuge in the mountains, settling near a river that now provides water for washing and fishing. They've built a basic summer hut for shade and sleep, but it offers little protection against venomous reptiles, wild animals, harsh winters, and violent storms. To survive, they must build a solid stone shelter. This video documents their struggle to lay the foundation for that shelter—a raw and emotional journey of resilience, survival, and hope, captured by a filmmaker who lives alongside them.
