The new GST rates on a number of items will come into effect from July 18.

Here’s the list of all the items that will now attract GST or be charged at a different rate

Single packages of food items like cereals,
pulses and flour weighing up to 25 kg - 5%
Printing, writing, or drawing ink -18%
Knives, Paper knives, Pencil sharpeners,
Spoons, forks, ladles - 18%
Power-driven water pumps, submersible
pumps- 18%
LED lamps, lights and fixtures - 18%
Drawing instruments - 18%
Solar Water Heater - 12%
Prepared/finished leather - 12%
Cut and Polished diamonds - 1.5%
Tetra Pack - 18%
Cheques, lose or in book form 18%
