Video piece that was originally created for THE VOID, a multimedia performance art piece created with movement artist Yoko Murakami at Triskelion Arts in Brooklyn, August 2021.
As a metaphor for current times, this performance delved into how the pandemic has changed our sense of place and shifted our perception of time.
Testu Collective's vision of a sci-fi alternate universe was created through macro videos of chemical reactions taken from multiple angles. Inspired by old science fiction movie soundtracks, Serena Stucke created the entire soundscape with a EMS Synthi AKS synthesizer.
