This time, I went on a two-day, one-night mountain trip to Mt. Tsurugidake in the Northern Alps. (Photo taken on June 12-13, 2025)

Mt. Tsurugidake is crowded with many climbers in the summer, but in fact, June is the best time to go! I heard from the mountain hut that I went there on a sunny day during the rainy season.

I have walked the Kassen Ridge many times, but since it is the beginning of the season, it is a bit tough physically... But the scenery and air that spread out beyond that were a real reward.

This time, I will also introduce my first stay at Tsurugidake Sanso and how to coordinate for mountain climbing.
I have also summarized the current access information, so I hope it will be helpful for those who are planning to go.

🚶‍♀️Current access to the trailhead (as of June 2025)
Currently, the Nakabusa Line is closed to general vehicles due to a landslide. The route to the trailhead is as follows:
1. Take a bus or taxi to the area just before the collapsed area
2. Walk past the collapsed area
3. Take the free shuttle bus to the Nakabusa trailhead
*The road closure is expected to be lifted around Obon.

🚗 Parking information for climbers
There are several parking lots at the foot of the mountain. There is a website that shows you in real time which parking lots are currently available, so if you are going by car, please refer to it.
