In this video, Brett will show you step by step how to clean commercial HVAC ducts. Two systems were cleaned where ductwork was leaking. Mold growth was found on both the outside and inside of the ducts.

Step 1: Cut into the supply plenum
Step 2: Vacuum all mold growth and other particulate matter
Step 3: Use a nylon head roto brush to remove any other particulates
Step 4: Spray sanitize the ductwork
Step 5: Seal the ductwork with an anti-microbial coating
Step 6: Seal up the ductwork

Commercial duct cleaning is not that much different than residential duct cleaning, you are just dealing with much larger units. Because the ducts have been leaking air for a while, mold was able to build up.
