The popularity of these long and low Young Manufacturing credenzas is off the charts and when restored its easy to see why.

What I did:

Glued down any loose veneer with @titebondwoodproducts wood glue
Patched any missing veneer with salvaged vintage walnut veneer
Filled any voids with @jbwelddiy 2 part epoxy putty tinted with @mixolusa Tints
Reglued the entire base
Scraped off the original finishes with a @bahco carbide scraper
Sanded the piece with @3mabrasives Cubitron sanding pads
 Sealed the piece with @Zinsser Sealcoat
 Performed color touchups with @mohawkfinishing Blandals, powder stains, and graining pens
Stained the legs with @zarfinishes premium teak
Sprayed toner (Zinsser sealcoat + Transtint medium brown dye)
Topcoated the piece with @geminiindustries Evo clear – Satin Sheen
