All of us carry at least a few burdensome concerns about our actions and choices in life, generating guilt, shame, worry, fear and so on. Questions like "Did I do the right thing?" or "Am I a bad person?" can rattle around in our brains for decades, unresolved because we never really find the answer.

And yet the answer is embedded in the question I asked in the middle of the night... "What if every path I take is the right one?"

Wow. As I allowed that idea to possibly be true, I felt an immense weight lifted... the weight of self-judgment.

And if you sink into that question for long enough, you may conclude the deep and holy truth I found; that my perceived misdeeds are only experiences which call me to forgiveness and love. That is all.
