Conservation around the world ✈️🌏🌊

Get an up-close look at what Whitney, the Phoenix Zoo's Conservation and Science Manager, experienced in Fiji while studying threatened nautiluses in the Indo-Pacific in collaboration with Save The Nautilus.

Some nautilus species have suffered population declines due to harvest for their shells, and other species are data deficient. Save The Nautilus works to understand the status of nautiluses by conducting research to learn more about their population demography, genetics, behavior, reproduction, diet and movement patterns.
