Get a great chippy paint look using a block of wood to apply paint instead of a paintbrush! This old wooden sign has been sitting around a while, so it’s already showing a “weathered” look, but I wanted to create something new with it. I’m still perfecting the alcohol drop technique to get some fun texture on my paint layers, so you’ll see a few flubs in this video. But I’m always going to show you the bad along with the good! Don’t be afraid to fail, because that’s how you learn!

All in all, I think he turned out great, and I’m going to hang this one on my boat dock!
