What started the Twisty Science Show?🎈

Back in 2019, I was twisting balloon stories at kids’ parties as part of my business, Giggly Wiggly Balloons. One of my shows was based on the story of the Three Little Pigs, and I loved turning familiar tales into fun balloon performances that kept kids engaged.

But I’ve always had a passion for science and a heart for STEM education. So when I published my children’s book What Makes You Unique, I had a new idea.
What if I combined storytelling, science, and balloons?

It started small. In 2020, I brought a version of the show to my daughter’s childcare. The kids were curious. The educators were impressed. And I could see the potential. So I kept going. Every show gave me a chance to refine it and build something better.

Since 2021, I’ve received grants that allowed me to perform the show for free for the community. Last year, I worked with a show director to help shape the performance even more. Now I can finally say this show is fun, interactive, and meaningful for kids’ learning.

And now it’s time to share it again.
