Rachel Reeves under spotlight as Bank of England boss DOUBTS her growth figures

Today whilst giving evidence to the Treasury Committee, Governor of the Bank of England Andrew Bailey poured cold water on the chancellors growth figures.

In response to a line of questioning on promising ONS projections, Bailey said that, "there is a disjoint between (the Government) number and the pattern we get from the surveys and the evidence.”
