It’s been almost 3 years since the RTX 4090 came out, so I wanted to see how it holds up in 2025. In this video, I'm testing the #2 gaming GPU as of 2025 at 4K, using ultra or max settings across 25 games. Most of the games are from 2019 to 2023, with a few more recent ones from 2024 and 2025. Either way, they’re all very GPU intensive.

Most games were tested with DLAA. For heavier titles with ray tracing or path tracing, I used DLSS 4 instead of DLAA to better reflect "real-world usage" (as far as I know, even the RTX 5090 can’t hit stable 60 FPS at 4K DLAA in most heavy path tracing games, aside from a few lighter ray tracing titles like Doom: The Dark Ages, on its default RT mode, or games like Hogwarts Legacy). I also included some gameplay with Frame Generation where available.

⚠️ Note: Since this was recorded on a single system, expect a slight performance hit. Actual gameplay runs around 3~10 FPS higher when not recording (varies by game).
