The film Jadu Tona Ki Kali Raat is the Hindi-dubbed version of the Malayalam classic Ee Bhargavi Nilayam.

The story unfolds in a desolate village that has been plagued by a severe drought and an unrelenting curse for years. The source of the misfortune is traced back to a tragic event: two young lovers committed suicide in the village, shattering the community's peace and stopping the annual temple festival.

The villagers live in fear, whispering of old wrongs and black magic (Jadu Tona). A prophecy emerges, foretelling the arrival of a man who can cross the cursed river and save the village from its sufferings.

The protagonist is a writer who arrives in the village seeking peace and moves into an old, dilapidated house. Instead of quiet, he finds himself encountering strange signs and the presence of a restless spirit. The spirit begins to communicate a chilling tale of love, pain, and betrayal, drawing the writer into the center of the village's decades-old curse.

He must confront the powerful spirits and the black magic that haunt the village to break the spell and bring peace and rain back to the community.
