If I find a lonely MCM nightstand, in the wild, I have to snag it! This one was made by Harmony House and was in really good shape, the finish was just bad.

I scrap all of the old finish off, using my carbide scraper and sanded everything with 120-150-180 grit sandpaper.

I cut off the old base and fixed any broken veneer by mixing wood epoxy putty and @werefinish concentrated stain in “royal walnut”

I sealed everything with Behr water base polyurethane in satin. I also toned the different woods using a mixture of my own toner, made with the water base polyurethane and stain concentrate in “royal walnut” and also used @werefinish wipe on hydro tone in “walnut”

I also made my own legs, out of oak and used brass screw caps to add an extra element and to tie into the new brass knob.

Drawer and drawer slide was hydrated using @arlington.woodworks furniture balm.
