1 Chocolate Oatmeal recipe 290 calories (1 serving)
Ingredients:
1/2 cup old fashioned oats
1 cup unsweetened almond milk/normal whole milk can also be used instead of almond milk
1 tsp unsweetened cocoa powder
1/2 Tbsp honey
1/2 tsp pure vanilla extract
1 tsp chia seeds
7-8 Almonds
1 Banana
Some semi sweetened chocolate chips
You can choose toppings of your choice
Preparation:
Combine milk, oats, cocoa powder, vanilla, and honey in a medium saucepan. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low.
Simmer uncovered for 3 to 5 minutes until thickened, stirring occasionally. Turn the stove off, cover, and let stand for 2 minutes.
Top with your favourite toppings and Serve immediately.
