“I think some people see it as a weakness and I don't see it that way. I see it as the opposite. It’s incredibly brave to open yourself up like that.”

Firefighter Tom called us when he was having suicidal thoughts. He shares how that moment changed the way he views talking about mental health. This Mental Health Awareness Week, he wants to raise awareness by talking openly about his experiences and encourage anyone struggling to reach out for help.
