On 12th August, 2017 - Saturday, President of Chain for Change - CFC Mr. Abhishek Shahi had reached to St. Xavier's College, Maitighar, Kathmandu at 10:30 AM sharp. Reaching there, he went to the "Wartin-hall" where all the students were being assembled. There the students were singing and dancing on the stage and were entertaining them self. Fr. Anup and coordinator Mr. Mohan welcomed him to the program. Then, after few minutes, official program began.
In the program, he was made the chief guest. After describing about "Partnership in Education" - PiE and its rule, coordinator invited him on the stage. He was called for delivering a speech on his experience at PiE and details about the program. He spoke for moreover ten (10) minutes. Then, a girl appeared on podium to give "vote of thanks" from the students. Likewise one of the trainee delivered "vote of thanks" and the program got shifted to second half i.e. "distributing stationary materials".
Around one hundred (100) students were benefited by this program. Each student received pencil, erasure, sharpener, dot pens, and note-book. The organization was handed with color pencils and shine pens for the children. The supervisor, coordinator and teachers (trainees) assured to use it during art and craft. Then, a group photo was taken with the students and other PiE family. Three students came to the president and had conversation. They even requested him to teach them again. Then, president departed from that place.
