On October 11th, Firefly, a subsidiary of NIO, announced the launch of the "Night Creatures" special edition model, limited to 666 units worldwide tonight. The price for opting for the BaaS battery rental service starts at 96,800 yuan, while the price for purchasing the entire vehicle starts at 136,800 yuan. A limited number of vehicles are available.

This new car is finished in Midnight Black with special edition Nocturnal Creatures decals and features Daytime White rally-style alloy wheels, a G-Force gravity control package, and a special G-value atmosphere ring throughout the interior.

The new car measures 4003 mm x 1781 mm x 1,00000557 mm, and has a wheelbase of 2615 mm. It features all-new multi-spoke wheels. It also features a G-Force gravity steering system for improved steering control and a 92-liter front luggage compartment suitable for use on both wet and dry surfaces.

The Firefly features a minimalist interior, complemented by colors matching the exterior, and is available in four different colors: Soothing Purple, Soothing Green, Peaceful Black, and Warm Beige. The new vehicle also features a new G-Value ambient ring on the display and a special black key card.

In terms of power, the Firefly uses a single 105 kW motor and is available in standard and long-range versions. According to IT Home, the standard-range version is equipped with a 42.1 kWh battery pack and has a range of up to 420 km.

The Firefly, on the other hand, uses a McPherson strut front and a five-link rear suspension. It has a front-to-rear weight ratio of nearly 50:50 and a turning radius of 4.7 meters, the smallest in its class.
