On 28th June, 2017 – Wednesday, the president of “Chain For Change” Mr. Abhishek Shahi along with “Sharmila Khadgi” – a professional guide who had brought those materials from Mr. Pedro had visited to “Sanga-Sangai”, Tamshipakha, Kathmandu. The president had already contacted with the coordinator “Trishna Kandel” of that agency for organizing distribution of stationary materials. He reached there at around 1:30 PM.
Reaching there, he handed over the stationary materials to the coordinator and she kept it inside the computer lab. Next, he observed the classrooms where the students were studying. Students were familiar to him so they had no astonishment. They wished him “namastay/good afternoon sir”. Responding them back, the coordinator and president went to the hall. Inside the hall, eighteen(18) junior children were playing with a volunteer “Dilnawaz Sheikh”.
After exchanging numerous dialogs, the volunteer departed from the organization. He had to attain an important program at 3:00 PM. Then, students showed two dances. After performing their dances, junior children went back to their classroom. Then, senior students were brought to the hall. The selected students performed a dance. In between Mis. Sharmila Khadgi arrived at the organization.
Subsequently after the performance, students were taken to their respective classrooms for lunch. Mis. Sharmila and the president were offered with noodles and tea. Consuming the lunch, they decorated the stationary materials on three different trays. At that time, teacher assembled the students outside the premises of the building.
There were fourty(40) pencils/eraser/sharpener and two hundred ten(210) color pencils. Each children(40 students) got a pencil, eraser and sharpener along with five(5) color pencils. Three students from the crowd were made to volunteer the event, as they were asked to hold the trays up. One by one, coordinator and teacher called their names out and rewarded the children. The remaining resources such as pencils, colors and eraser were handed over to the coordinator and teacher for supplementary use. Then, they departed from the organization.
