आज वोटिंग के बीच कई बड़े घटनाक्रम सामने आए हैं। जमुई के चकाई विधानसभा में बूथ 145 और 301 पर EVM खराब होने से मतदान लगभग 4 घंटे देर से शुरू हुआ। बांका, किशनगंज, और औरंगाबाद सहित 5 जिलों में 6 से अधिक बूथों पर EVM और VVPAT गड़बड़ी की शिकायतें मिली हैं। कई जगह वोटिंग लेट हुई और बांका में स्थानीय लोगों ने पंचायत भवन की मांग को लेकर मतदान का बहिष्कार किया है।

सुबह 11 बजे तक 122 सीटों पर 31.38% मतदान दर्ज हुआ, जो पहले चरण से 3% अधिक है। उधर विपक्ष ने मोतिहारी के बूथ 229 और 230 पर मतदान कक्ष के भीतर मतदाताओं को चुनाव चिन्ह वाली पर्चियां दिखाने का आरोप लगाया है। साथ ही इमामगंज के बूथ 78 और 79 पर जीविका दीदियों द्वारा वोटर्स पर दबाव बनाने की शिकायत भी सामने आई है।

Major disruptions have been reported from multiple districts due to EVM and VVPAT malfunction. In Jamui’s Chakai constituency, polling at booths 145 and 301 started nearly four hours late. Similar delays were reported from Banka, Kishanganj and Aurangabad due to faulty voting machines. In Banka, locals even boycotted voting demanding a Panchayat Bhavan.

Till 11 AM, voter turnout across 122 seats reached 31.38%, which is 3% higher than Phase 1. The opposition has alleged serious violations in Motihari booths 229 and 230, claiming that party-symbol slips were shown to voters inside the booth. Another complaint from Imamganj booths 78 and 79 alleges pressure on women, elderly and differently abled voters by local livelihood workers.
