Home-growing video of the Eastern's Lychee plant from seed in 76 days. The seed was extracted from an oriental grocery's fresh lychee fruit. It was then germinated in water for 6 days, then transplant to a small pot for indoor growing. Plant was watered daily and bathed under a grow light to simulate that of the tropical climate.
Lychee is also known as Litchi, it's an evergreen tree native to Vietnam, Southern China province, and Taiwan. Fruit is super sweet and juicy, perfect to enjoy raw.
