Words DO have power…
“Sticks and stones may break my bones, but words will never hurt me!”
This nursery rhyme most of us recited as children is a LIE. Words do hurt, and has cause tremendous pain to those who carry negative words spoken to them for years.
In actuality, the wounds received from sticks and stones —heal faster than the invisible wounds of the hurting heart caused by WORDS.
